SOLUTION: When Oakwood began work on the store, the only elements on the site were temporary doors and enclosures. We began by installing miscellaneous metals embedded in the concrete floor and precast walls, including the compactor door and protective pipe bollards. Other team members installed miscellaneous welded metals including roof hatches and access ladders.

Oakwood was also responsible for the installation of all wood backing throughout the project, as well as bathroom partitions and accessories, coring and concrete piers for the garden center shade structure and plastic chair rails at the perimeter of the store. By staying organized and on schedule, Oakwood was able to complete the immense project within Meijer’s strict timeline of 26 weeks.
