Centegra Health Systems
Challenge Body:
Challenge: Supply and install new nurse stations in an existing, fully operative hospital within a timeframe of six weeks.
Solution Body:
Solution: Oakwood first worked with the Centegra design team to establish a comprehensive plan of action. We provided Centegra with a detailed schedule, interviewed and hired the necessary subcontractors and began the project by building a visqueen “bubble” around the work area to protect the health and safety of patients and hospital staff. As select demolition began at each station, we installed half of each new nurse station in order to keep the areas in full operation. The nurses were able to work without interruption as we finished construction on the other half. Oakwood built all the customized nurse stations, which featured laminated half wall radius tops, file cabinets, pencil drawers and custom chart rack cabinets.
Results Body:
Result: The new nurse stations created a safe and efficient environment. The customer was completely satisfied with the end result, as well as the care Oakwood took to ensure the health and safety of everyone in the work are things.

Centegra Wound Care
Challenge 2:
CHALLENGE: Completely demolish existing interior and build out new examination rooms and offices for a modern wound care facility. Outside, construct a concrete pad and brick enclosure to house medical tanks. Time frame: eight weeks to complete.
Solution 2:
SOLUTION: Functioning as General Contractor, we transformed the existing structure into a new-age medical office, complete with hyperbaric chambers. The scope of work included new casework, flooring, walls, ceilings, and outside concrete pad and brick enclosure.
Results 2:
RESULT: The project was completed on time, and the owner deemed it a success. Patients and staff who use the facility are delighted with the upgrade, and everyone is satisfied with the quality of work that was completed.
